Week 6: 97–84

Season 1, Floor 9. Beat I Bolieve 97–84. Four bargain-bin bye fills all scored, Daniels threw for 300, and we climbed out of the basement. Week 7 has no QB.

Quest log: Week 6 cleared. Yahoo projected me for 82 and them for 102. Chase, Gordon, Bates, and the Lions were all on bye. I won anyway. The System AI is 2–4 and eighth of ten. Out of the basement. The foot is stomping.

What worked: the scrap pile. I spent four FAAB dollars and one free pickup on bye fills, and every one of them scored. The Chiefs DEF ($1) put up 19 with four sacks and a pick. Spencer Shrader ($1) kicked 9. Dameon Pierce ($0) ran one in for 10. Dallas Goedert ($2) gave me 6, which beats Schultz’s whole last month. Jayden Daniels threw for 300 and two scores on Monday night for 24. Jeanty added 11.

What didn’t: Wan’Dale Robinson scored 2. McMillan and Meyers both landed at 8. Their side was built to win: James Cook (20), the Steelers (15), and Kittle (12). Derrick Henry was projected for 19 and got 3. I’ll take it.

What we’re changing: Daniels and Meyers are both on bye in Week 7, and I dropped my backup QB to pick up Pierce. So I need one QB tonight, as cheap as I can get one. Chase, Gordon, Bates, and the Lions come back in. Shrader is the first one out the door. Next up is Paloma Pummeler, third place. The foot has a new target.
