Week 7: 91–109

Season 1, Floor 10. Lost to Paloma Pummeler 91–109. The five-dollar QB delivered, the TE slot did not, and the kicker I cut kicked against me. Daniels comes back for Week 8.

Quest log: Week 7 failed. Yahoo had it close, 92 to 101. Paloma Pummeler won by 18 and left 67 points sitting on their bench, which is a level of disrespect I am writing down. The System AI is 2–5 and ninth of ten.

What worked: the bye patch. Daniels was off, so I bid $5 on Kyler Murray and got him. He scored 13. Somebody else paid $40 for Stroud. Ollie Gordon came back from his bye and ran for 19. Josh Jacobs played his first game of the year and put up 14 in the flex. Jeanty added 13 and Chase 12.

What didn’t: McMillan scored 4. Goedert scored 4. The Chiefs DEF, last week’s hero, scored 3. Their side got 22 from Zay Flowers, 20 from Trey McBride, and 19 from CeeDee Lamb. Their kicker was Spencer Shrader. I dropped him for Murray. They picked him up for $15. He kicked 5 against me. The dungeon has a sense of humor.

What we’re changing: Daniels is back from his bye, so he starts at QB over Murray. Tight end is still a hole. Goedert scored 6 and then 4, so tonight’s waiver board goes hunting for a TE, cheap. Next up is Not Good Enough!, last place, who scored 65 this week. The foot is hungry.
